Overview

The HVAC Warden is a stationary HVAC monitoring companion that has been developed by Scentroid.

The Scentroid HVAC Warden will keep your facility occupants safe by providing real-time air quality monitoring based on high accuracy detection of dangerous gases, including the temperature and humidity of the sample. Instead of letting your HVAC run constantly, the warden helps to reduce energy costs by sending monitored information to the building’s ventilation system control system and then optimizes air change rates. This energy-saving concept was designed for hospitals, laboratories, and university research centres with high air change rates per hour.

Based on your data, the HVAC Warden can be customized to detect over 60 pollutants as well as particulates PM1, 2.5 and PM10. The chemicals to be measured by the Warden are specified at the time of ordering. Users can even download air quality data and evaluate their facility’s performance.

The US20 Urban Scanner is a mobile smart city air quality monitor developed by Scentroid.

The Urban Scanner™ is a complete platform that provides detailed air quality information within urban landscapes. It achieves this by collecting and combing through a variety of information such as air pollution concentration, a 3D map of the city, traffic conditions, micro-weather patterns, and more.

Data is collected using a weather-proof, easily mountable device installed on the roof of a vehicle. The data is then processed using sophisticated AI-based algorithms in order to extract key information and correlate them to an air quality value at any location within a sampling environment. An advanced deep learning algorithm is then used to generate geospatial predictions of urban pollution. This means that with enough collected data, the system can provide pollution concentration values for locations that the Urban Scanner has not even sampled! The model can also be used to identify polluted zones and pinpoint the source(s) of local pollution.

Unparalleled Sensor Technology:
  • Gas analyzers
  • Laser scattered particulate matter
  • Ultrasonic anemometer
  • LIDAR (optional)
  • 360-degree camera
  • High-resolution compass
  • GPS receiver
  • Noise sensor
  • EMF detector

Overview

The TR8+ Pollutracker is an infield pollution tracking station developed by Scentroid.

The Scentroid Pollutracker TR8+ is a complete air quality mobile laboratory. This instrument allows the user to measure ambient air using up to 10 sensors and analyzers including photoionization detectors (PID) sensors, non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensors, electrochemical, and metal oxide sensors. The Pollutracker includes a built-in 10″ touchscreen interface, on-device data logging, wireless transfer via email, remote (internet-based) firmware updates, built-in sampling pump, simultaneous data analysis of gases, built-in rechargeable battery, on-screen calibration procedure and an external decontamination device.

Includes a sampling pump and Scentroid’s Pollutracker tracker application that can be loaded to any customer supplied Android phone/tablet. Two chemical sensors can be specified at the time of ordering.

How Scentroid Can Help

For each sample location, Scentroid instantaneously records:

  • The concentration of two chemical vapours in ppm or ppb depending on sensors ordered
  • Temperature and humidity
  • The GPS position of each measurement
  • Continuously for remote monitoring via Bluetooth

Overview

The TR8 Odotracker is an infield odour tracking station analyzer that has been developed by Scentroid.

The Scentroid OdoTracker is a multi-sensor device that measures the concentrations of two chemicals in ambient air at the same time. The chemicals to be measured by the device are specified at the time of ordering. For example, the user may specify the measurement of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) at ppb-level and Ammonia (NH3) at ppm-level. The instrument logs the chemical measurements as well as temperature and humidity of the sample, GPS location, and automatically transfers all data to the user’s supplied smart Android device via Bluetooth.

Includes a sampling pump, two chemical sensors that are specified at the time of ordering, and Scentroid’s OdoTracker Application that can be loaded to any customer supplied Android phone/tablet. For each sample location, Scentroid instantaneously records:

  • The concentration of two chemical vapours in ppm or ppb depending on sensors ordered

Overview

The DR1000 Flying Laboratory is an environmental monitoring station attached to a drone that has been developed by Scentroid.

The Scentroid DR1000 can be used to sample and analyze ambient air at heights of up to 125 meters above ground level, a feat that was previously impossible to accomplish. Air quality mapping, model verification, and analysis of potentially dangerous sites have all now been made possible! While in flight, five built-in chemical sensors can provide remote monitoring of chemicals selected at the time of ordering.

It is often used to sample stacks, ponds, and other locations where human access is difficult and/or dangerous. Furthermore, operator exposure to dangerous chemicals during sampling must be carefully considered. The Scentroid DR1000 flying laboratory allows the operator to stay safely away from potentially hazardous sources while acquiring the required air sample for laboratory analysis.

The CTair Plus compact and continuous urban air quality and odour monitoring station is an analyzer developed by Scentroid.

The CTair+ monitoring station is a fixed unit that collects information from a variety of sensors and presents the collected data in an easy to understand graphical interface. It has been designed to be dispatched into a wider network of CTair+ units. Due to its lightweight design at 10 lbs, the CTair+ unit can easily be installed and mounted to a light fixture or utility pole. By applying information collected from multiple data points, the CTair+ allows the user to gain a complete understanding of the chemical compounds being monitored.

The CTair+ has been designed to hold 4 individual sensors. These can be specified from a list of over 50+ traceable chemical compounds. The CTair+ has been built to withstand temperatures ranging from -50 °C to 40 °C (with heating module).
